We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Emily Lewis. We sat down with Emily to learn more about her background in digital marketing as well as her hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

My background and experience are primarily in paid social and social media marketing; prior to joining the Fujisan team I worked as a digital marketer developing social media strategy for clients in a variety of B2C and B2B industries. I’m thrilled to be working in the search marketing space at Fujisan!

Why do you love digital marketing?

I love storytelling and connecting a brand to potential customers in creative and unique ways. The digital marketing landscape is continually shifting, and I enjoy discovering new techniques and adapting to stay on top of trends, build new ways of reaching clients, and problem solve to reach better optimizations.

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

As a professional marketer I feel a sense of purpose building compelling campaigns that deliver messages to the right buyer, I also feel a sense of responsibility in highlighting their brand in an honest way. It’s important to me that the clients who work with me feel that every marketing dollar is being put forward with their best interest in mind to deliver the highest ROI. I also feel deeply gratified when I can help clients improve their revenue or build a stronger online presence.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

My two favorite hobbies: spending time outside and reading. Better yet, combine the two. I enjoy many kinds of outdoor recreation, my favorite of which is gravel biking. I read a variety of non-fiction and fiction and read the complete ‘Women’s Prize for Fiction’ long list each year.
