We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Susanna Chaudhry. We sat down with Susanna to learn more about her background in digital marketing as well as her hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

Prior to Fujisan Marketing most of my career in marketing consisted of being an inhouse marketer. I was a marketing generalist who did most of the content writing and creative visual creation, as well as strategizing and implementation of marketing ventures.

Why do you love digital marketing?

I love digital marketing because it is a facet of marketing that is new to me. I enjoy learning how marketing efforts are conducted on the internet and how it’s vital for businesses to grow their brand awareness, including how digital marketing campaigns help businesses achieve their goals, and how to adapt and change a digital marketing strategy to drive better results.

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

I feel thrilled to be a professional in the digital marketing industry. I am excited to learn and take in all the knowledge I can to help businesses achieve their goals. Also, the fact that digital marketing is highly measurable, where you can see in real time exactly how well a campaign or ad is doing, and then determining how you want to move forward with it, is very interesting and proactive, something very different from being an inhouse marketer.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

Some hobbies I really enjoy doing are staying active so either going or the gym or doing outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking. I also enjoy trying new restaurants.

Where is your next big vacation?

My next big vacation has yet to be determined! Stay tuned!
