We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Belinda Kil. We sat down with Belinda to learn more about her background in digital marketing as well as her hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

I’ve worked primarily in the E-commerce space, and I’ve worn many hats executing various roles in digital marketing and design. Most of my search marketing experience was through inbound marketing strategies and organic search. I’ve done various SEO work in website content management, brand strategy, and social media and email content marketing.

  • Brand strategy – Cohesive Brand Identity & voice, maximizing brand awareness.
  • Social Media Marketing – copywriting, campaign management, influencer marketing
  • Email marketing – A/B testing, email copywriting
  • Website content management and optimizations – On-page SEO

Why do you love digital marketing?

The best part of digital marketing is that it’s never boring. This dynamic field is progressive and innovative by nature, so there are endless possibilities to develop and grow. I love that the work requires problem solving and it constantly challenges me, not only to think creatively, but also to think about people and the world from a broader perspective. The future is digital, and digital marketers today are bridging the gap in human connection and communication in the digital landscape, and that’s exciting.  

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

Because my background was heavily in design and visual strategy, I’m excited to develop my “left brain” in digital marketing and take a deeper dive in SEO/SEM marketing. I like that this industry is all about providing tangible solutions that are driven by analytical problem solving, and performance-based results.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

During COVID, I discovered my love for cooking. I could spend a whole day trying out a new recipe. I love running and most outdoor adventures like hiking and snowboarding. I’m also a bit of an adrenaline junkie – I love rollercoasters. 

Where is your next big vacation?

I have an annual end of the year trip with my group of friends that I always look forward to. This year, we are going to the big apple!
