We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Kyle Getz. Kyle joined us in October 2023. We sat down with Kyle to learn more about his background in digital marketing as well as his hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

I started my search career at Microsoft managing paid search accounts on Bing. From there, I moved to an automotive agency where I managed digital strategy for paid search, display, and retargeting. I then worked at a SEO SaaS company where I was a customer success manager, helping clients with their SEO strategy.

Why do you love digital marketing?

I love digital marketing because it’s always changing. There’s always something new coming out, whether it’s a new consumer trend or a new social media platform, which means there’s always something new to learn. It makes day-to-day life exciting, interesting, and engaging.

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

Being a digital marketing professional is exciting because what we do powers the digital world that everyone lives in every day. There’s a sense of pride that I take in helping websites get seen or helping our clients succeed in their professional lives. Ultimately, we help make sure people are able to find what they’re looking for with ease, so I like to think that we make the internet a better place to be.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

I have a dog that I love spending time with (a dachshund cocker spaniel mix named Reynolds). I have my own podcast that I record, edit, and publish with a friend outside of work hours. I’m a nerd who loves Dungeons & Dragons, and I have a group that I play with regularly.

Where is your next big vacation?

I’m planning to go on a vacation to a cabin somewhere outside of Seattle with my D&D group so we can hang out, cook food, play games, and, of course, play D&D!
