We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Elliott Thrussell. We sat down with Elliott to learn more about his background in digital marketing as well as his hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

Previously I’ve worked on the platform, reseller, and most recently agency-side in various Search roles for everyone from SMB to enterprise-level clients. I began in an editorial role and progressed through strategy, planning, eventually to end-to-end client management.

Why do you love digital marketing?

I love the ability to nurture leads for businesses who see down-funnel marketing as their lifeblood. I feel rewarded when users in need are connected to a relevant solution that’s just what they’re looking for.

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

It’s fast-paced and I love that. There is always an opportunity to improve my skillset through deep-diving into data, and embracing the revolving-door of features launched by the Search engines.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

I enjoy learning how get great shots with my DSLR, weekend road trips around the beautiful PNW, tinkering with anything with an engine, and getting to the beach when the weather is nice.

Where is your next big vacation?

HAWAII!!
