We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Fujisan Marketing team, Cameron Jamieson. We sat down with Cameron to learn more about his background in digital marketing as well as his hobbies outside of the workplace.

Tell us about your Search Marketing background prior to joining Fujisan Marketing.

Before Fujisan, I did everything from campaign management for tiny accounts, to operations work for some of the largest digital marketing agencies in the business, to managing a multi-domain portfolio for one of the largest PPC spenders on Google.

Why do you love digital marketing?

The near instantaneous results digital marketing can deliver are fantastic, and I absolutely love helping people achieve the results they are looking for. It’s a great feeling when the clients know their money has been well spent. It also helps that I’m good at it. It’s nice coming into work knowing you’re capable at what you do for a living.

How do you feel about being a professional in our industry?

It’s odd referring to myself as a professional in anything, but it’s rewarding to be able to provide answers and solutions to any complex issues. I am genuinely proud of how far I’ve come, and the career I’ve carved out for myself in the world of digital marketing.

What are some hobbies that you really enjoy?

I love staying active, so I’m pretty big into both running and Olympic weightlifting. When I’m not breaking my body down, you can find me gaming online, or enjoying a nice lager with friends.

Where is your next big vacation?

Oh, definitely Japan or Argentina. When I travel, I love to visit all the spots Anthony Bourdain (RIP) featured on his show. I recently did that in Berlin and it was absolutely worth it, as he typically visited some great food joints for the working class.
