Fujisan Marketing is pleased to announce the addition of Katie Blatman to the Client Management team. Katie was hired to support the company’s growing demand for custom digital marketing services. She brings over a decade of expertise in SEO, SEM and web analytics and creates measurable results for the organizations she works with.
Before
joining Fujisan, Katie served in client-facing roles for the Seattle Times and Garrigan Lyman Group
with impressive results. As Senior Campaign Manager at the Times, Katie worked with a marquis client, the Pacific Science
Center: under Katie’s direction and in only four-months’ time, the Pacific
Science Center increased revenue by 1900% (not a typo) and drove 933% more
transactions – all while cutting SEM ad spend by 33%. Prior to the Seattle Times, Katie served as Search
Strategist for the Garrigan Lyman Group and was the interface for all of the
agency’s SEO/SEM clients. At Garrigan Lyman, she managed activities for Eviva where
she tripled organic search leads and doubled paid search leads in one year while
decreasing Eviva’s cost-per-lead by 51%. Katie has created similarly notable results
in roles with Toyo Tires, Marchex, and CDK Global, among others. She holds a
B.A. in Communications from Pacific Lutheran University and is Google Ads
Certified.
“Katie’s
agency experience, aptitude for solving digital marketing problems, and expertise
across market segments make her a great fit for our team,” Preston Parshall,
Fujisan Marketing CEO, said. “In
addition, she is kind, thoughtful, and knows how to build true partnerships
with our clients. We are lucky to have her.”
The digital marketing industry has seen rapid and continual year-over-year growth since 2008 with no end in sight. According to a Borrell Associates report, the United States SEO industry alone is estimated to reach $80 billion by 2020 (up from $72 billion in 2018). This market growth means continuous change, often leaving organizations confused about how to make an impact with the vast options available. With the addition of Katie – and continued plans for growth – Fujisan Marketing is well-positioned to help companies understand the opportunities and find success with customized plans to match their unique goals and needs.
